Record for Trivandrum Railway division

The
Thiruvananthapuram railway division has become the
only division in the Southern Railway to
exceed the overall earnings target of the Railway Board.
The division has achieved overall earnings of
Rs 355.87 crore for the period from April to September this year compared to the total earnings of
Rs. 280.82 crore for the corresponding period of the last financial year, an increase of 27 per cent.
According to the railways, the passenger earnings have gone up by 22 per cent and the freight earnings have increased by 47 per cent for the six month period when compared to last year.

TVC is probably one of the best stations in India.
Have you seen any other station in India that is better maintained?
Where else can you see such spotless granite flooring, a station where people don't spit on the floor!
We should give it to the people and the railways!

Yes , we have the best station.And now its being developed to the international quality.
But the trains, they are worst in cleanliness and service. We get old refurnished coaches from northern states. We deserve the best!

What happened to the plan for adding Wi-Fi facility? Still under consideration?

WiFi is there already.. I got wifi conenction from AP "TVC3" or somethng like that on anuary 2008. I checked again on last month. Seems like they have 3 APs.
